  3. Aquatic Biology & Ecology: Aquatic biodiversity, plankton biology, aquatic food webs, ecosystem dynamics, invasive species, and habitat conservation.
  4. Aquatic Environment & Water Quality: Aquatic pollution, water quality assessment, limnology, marine ecology, climate change impacts on aquatic systems, and ecosystem restoration.
  5. Post-Harvest Technology & Value Addition: Fish processing, preservation, product development, quality control, food safety, and value chain innovation.
  6. Interdisciplinary & Emerging Areas: Aquatic biotechnology, fisheries informatics, remote sensing and GIS in fisheries, smart aquaculture systems, blue economy studies, and interdisciplinary research linking fisheries with environmental science, economics, and sustainability.
