Instructions to Author

The International Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Incremental Innovation is published monthly, adopting the continuous publication model. Submission is open to researchers in the fields of fisheries, aquaculture, aquatic sciences, and related interdisciplinary areas from around the world. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the Editorial Board, followed by a blinded peer-review process conducted by experts in the relevant field. Authors are strongly encouraged to read our editorial policies carefully to understand the peer review and publication process. All accepted papers are subject to editorial modifications for clarity and to meet journal standards.

Authorship
All individuals designated as authors must meet authorship criteria. Authorship credit should be based exclusively on substantial contributions to:

  1. The conception and design of the study, or the analysis and interpretation of data.
  2. Drafting the article or revising it critically for significant intellectual content.
  3. Final approval of the version to be published.

Submission of Manuscripts
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial review by an editor, members of the Editorial Board, or qualified external reviewers. Manuscript decisions are made promptly to ensure timely dissemination of research findings. Articles can be submitted via the journals submission link (Submit Manuscript) or sent directly to fisheries.aquaresearch@gmail.com.

Preparation of the Manuscript
Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English. Both British and American spellings are accepted. Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The general format for research papers should follow this structure:

  1. Title Page
  2. Abstract and Keywords
  3. Introduction
  4. Materials and Methods
  5. Results
  6. Discussion
  7. Conclusion
  8. Acknowledgment (if any)
  9. References

Title Page
The title page should include:

  1. A concise and informative title of the article.
  2. Names of all authors, limited to six, with at least one forename in full for each. Include affiliations (department, institution, city, postal code, and country). Use superscript numbers to link authors to their respective institutions if applicable.
  3. Contact details of the corresponding author: mailing address, fax number (if any), phone number, and email ID.
  4. A running title, not exceeding 50 characters.

Abstract
The abstract (maximum 250 words) should appear on the second page. For full research papers, the abstract must be structured to reflect:

  1. Background
  2. Objectives
  3. Methods
  4. Results and Conclusions

Keywords
Below the abstract, provide three to six keywords (in alphabetical order), separated by commas.

Introduction
State the purpose of the study clearly. Summarize the background and rationale for the research. Highlight the gap or deficiency in existing studies that motivated the current research. Keep references concise and focused.

Materials and Methods
Clearly describe the research methodology. This section must include sufficient detail to allow replication of the study. It is mandatory for all research articles.

Results
Present results clearly and logically. Include the number of observations, relevant data, and statistical significance. Use tables and figures as appropriate. Legends for figures and tables should be typed continuously with the text.

Discussion
Focus on the new and significant findings and their implications. Avoid repeating detailed data already presented in the results. Discuss limitations and link your findings to broader topics within the aquatic sciences. Relate conclusions to study objectives without making unsupported claims.

Conclusion
Provide a concise summary of the study, highlighting its novelty, implications, and contributions to the advancement of aquatic science and sustainable practices.

References
References must follow the below format:

Author(s). Title of the article. Journal Name. Year;Volume(Issue):Page numbers.
Example:
